Australian music
A limited selection of Australian music is available through overseas sources such as Amazon.com, CDnow, and others, but if you're really keen, we suggest you visit the Australian Chaosmusic site. They have an extensive range of Australian and other music CDs, and they ship overseas.
You can also find information about Australian music and musicians at the Oz Music Project site, which provides news, CD reviews, live reviews, gig guides and interviews, MP3s, video clips, photo galleries and more. The emphasis is on up-and-coming bands, but established bands are there too.
We don't pay much attention to contemporary music, but now and then something catches our attention. When it does, we'll mention it here.

Indigenous Australia
Indigenous Australia is an independent world music label formed by David Hudson, an acclaimed Aboriginal didgeridoo player, screen actor, dancer, guitanst, writer, television presented and painter. If you don't have Flash 5 and some other multimedia software installed, you probably won't be able to see much if any of this site. The site's interactive section includes demonstrations of the sounds of the didgeridoo and the technique of circular breathing. Of course you can buy the group's latest CD releases, as well as videos and DVDs. http://www.indig.com/
