This mailing list is moving

As a cost-cutting measure, we're moving this mailing list to a free service. When the move occurs, you will receive a message asking you to confirm that you want to subscribe to the new list. We hope you will do so!

The only difference you should see with the new service is an advertisement (not of our choice) at the end of the newsletter.

Meanwhile, sorry for all the commercial services listed in this newsletter, but we're catching up on a backlog of stuff and have been too busy to write anything original this time. The businesses we include look like services we'd be likely to use ourselves. We got a lot of requests from other places to be included on the website, but we don't include ones that are clearly targeted at a much different (usually younger) audience.

Aboriginal art prints

The Aboriginal Art Print Network is Australia's largest publisher of limited edition prints by Australian aboriginal artists. They actively work in collaboration with aboriginal artists from communities across Australia to produce limited edition prints as well as international touring exhibitions. Their website includes a great deal of educational information about aboriginal art and culture including artists' biographies and Dreamtime stories. We enjoyed browsing through it, and think you will too. http://www.aboriginalartprints.com.au/

Air tours of coastal Western Australia

Wendy Mann, Chief Pilot and Manager, Geraldton Air Charter Pty Ltd, wrote to us:
"We do a great scenic tour from Geraldton to the Abrolhos Islands. It includes a scenic flight over the Islands, landing at East Wallabi Island, snorkelling over beautiful coral in Turtle Bay, and a guided nature tour. Morning tea and lunch are provided.

"We also specialise in tours to Monkey Mia and Coral Bay and in designing custom tours for clients. http://www.geraldtonaircharter.com.au/

Western Australia small tour operator information

This booking service's page offers a wide variety of information to help people plan trips around Western Australia. They offer a complete booking service and work particularly with smaller operators, to try to bring them together with people who are looking for a "Real Outback" experience and match the right operator with visitors' expectations. http://www.westaustralia.com/

"Great Aussie Food" shopping site

An online shopping service at http://www.greataussiefood.com.au/ says, "We take a great deal of pride in supplying Australian Expats with all of their favourite food from home and if it's not on our site we are more than happy to provide a personal shopping service if there is any special item you can't find abroad." Of course they'll supply anyone who wants to try some of the Aussie tucker they have in stock.
