Gorgeous, Jean. Did you just cruise the coastline or did you get to go on land?

We were able to go on land at two islands and in the areas of Scott and Shackleton’s huts (below Mount Erebus), which are technically on Ross Island, not the Antarctic mainland. Other landings were planned but not possible due to rough conditions making boarding and landing the Zodiaks too dangerous.
